DB Systel has been in Erfurt since 1998 and in the meantime has approximately 400 employees there. In operational terms, the emphasis in Erfurt is on platform management and application management as well as IT helpdesks at the locations Schlachthofstraße and Weimarische Straße (see directions on the right side). For example, in Erfurt we provide the basis for web-based applications on the intranet and internet of Deutsche Bahn AG and operate various passenger transport applications.

Erfurt is also the training place for our IT specialists (f/m) for systems integration and for information systems management as well as our cooperative education programme in Business Informatics and Applied Computer ScienceSince 2005, we have been cooperating with the "Königin Luise" grammar school in Erfurt, for example by organising technology events at the school and career days at DB Systel.
