Deutsche Bahn

Berlin – City of diversity

Berlin is the data processing centre of DB Systel. No other city in Germany offers so many possibilities for individual lifestyle like Berlin!

Berlin is one of the oldest IT locations of Deutsche Bahn and today home to the modern and certified data centres of DB Systel. Nearly 450 employees work at the locations Mahlsdorf (Florastraße), Mitte (Caroline-Michaelis-Staße) and Lichtenberg (Marktstraße); see directions on the right side. In addition to data centre operation, the Service Operation Desk is run out of this location. Parts of DB Systel's application development and customer management are also located in Berlin close to customers. Berlin is also an important location for us in terms of training. In Berlin we train young professionals who want to become IT specialists (f/m) for systems integration or for information systems management. Another option is a cooperative education programme in Business Informatics or Applied Computer Science.

Specialisation is the one thing in Berlin, but we also devote ourselves to social aspects. As a sponsor of the Schleipfuhl elementary school in Hellersdorf, our employees actively support a wide range of school activities. Our health days with sports and summer festival are becoming a much-appreciated tradition.
